"The Lottery" CRR #7

This meme supports the theme "Fix the problem before it happens not after it happens" because Tessie was totally fine with the lottery until her family got picked. "Mr Hutchinson went over to Tessie and had to force the slip of paper out of her hand." She said its not fair as she was getting stoned by all of her friends and family."As all of the villagers moved in on her, it isn't fair she said as a stone hit her on the side of the head.".

Are Video Games a Sport? (#sstr)

Are Video Games a Sport?(#3sstr)

Do you think of video games as a sport? When I think of a sport I think of basketball, baseball, soccer, or football. I like to think of it as video games have their own kind of category of sports, in a way. The definition of sport is “to amuse oneself with some pleasant pastime or recreation”. And if you love video games and it amuses you, then it may be considered a sport in your mind.

I play video games every once in a while but I would rather be outside playing basketball with my friends, then sitting on my butt for like 5 hours a day moving my thumbs back and forth. I play video games like call of duty, skate, basketball, and football games when I have some free time, but definitely not as a sport or competitively. There are major league gaming competitions where people compete to win stuff like thousands of dollars. I feel like the essence of a sport is physical activity, like in basketball, driving into the paint, drawling fouls. I also think of sports as competitive, but in a way video games can be considered competitive based on who you ask, because MLG is a very competitive gaming network, there is even money involved, and I am talking like hundreds of thousands. People get very competitive when it comes to prizes. But it is definitely based off of who you ask. You could ask me and I would say no, because you are just sitting there moving your thumbs, doing nothing but looking at a TV or computer screen. Then you could go ask a professional MlG player, who plays for tons of money and he would say yes, because if you play for a company competitively in your mind it would be a sport.

So do you think video games could be a sport? I personally don’t think so. Comment and tell me what you think.

My Love For Fishing(PB)#2

My Love for Fishing(PB)#2

I love the feeling of sitting down casting my line into the water, and watching the sun set. Fishing is one of my all-time favorite thing to do when I have free time, or when I am feeling that I need excitement. Fishing is everything to me, the poles, the line, the lures , and especially the fish.

Salmon

Salmon are my favorite fish to fish for. They are a very energetic fish. They will fight for ever, the most I have fought one for, would be like 7 minutes. That fish was 30 inches long and a whopping 23 pounds. What I also like is you can fish for salmon in the rivers, the ocean, and the lakes if they are stocked. I have caught three salmon so far this season, and every single one has been a blast landing them on shore. I had gone up to the river one day with my dad and his friend. And my dad’s friend caught a 35 pound king salmon on row (salmon eggs). It was by far the biggest and broadest fish I have ever seen with my own eyes. One thing I have not been able to do is troll for salmon in deception pass. This is one of my goals, before I have to move again. I think trolling for salmon would be so fun. Because on a boat you are in the middle of where they are trying to go, and you have a high chance of catching them.

Bass

Bass are my second favorite fish to fish. They are also a fighting fish. With bass it is all about the excitement, because you don’t really eat bass. They are a fun game fish to fish and they can get really big. I have caught a 7 pound largemouth when I was visiting my family in Maine. One time when I was in the middle of reeling in a small largemouth bass a pike came up and took a big bite out of the bass.

Breannas controversial Selfie

“First let me take a selfie” (CRR)

Breanna Mitchel took a selfie on June twentieth In the Auschwitz concentration camp. Not only did she show disrespect to me she showed disrespect to a lot of other people in the world. I do see a problem with Breanna Taking “selfies” in the Auschwitz camp. The Auschwitz camp was a place where the Nazis showed the Jews and other disliked races how they felt about them. They put strong people to work in the concentration camps, and they sent the weak people, or elders, and children to the gas chambers.

Usually when you take a selfie you make a face for how you feel about where you are or what you are doing. Like if you are at a party you would make a smiling or funny face or something along those lines, and if you are in a sad place you would make a sad face or something. I think it is pretty bad to smile in a place where so many bad actions, and memories for some people.

If think about her story or her side, she does say that is was for the remembrance of her dad. Her parents had told her when she graduated she could go anywhere in the states. Her favorite subject was social studies and that is why she chose Auschwitz. She was also saying how the only thing she liked in history is the holocaust, and WWII. Her dad passed away a year before she got to choose where she wanted to go. So maybe this was her happy place where she could remember the good times with her dad. I started to understand her point, and I was sort of in her shoes and understood how she felt, she was saying “I didn’t mean any harm,” but then I looked at her comment and saw the blushy/smiling face. That right there made me think that she was happy to be in that dark gruesome place. I totally changed my mood on that emoji.

So I would recommend not taking controversial photos. This suggestion will not only make you not hated but it will save you from being made fun of, and being called nasty things.
